Announcement of 2022 Profit Distribution by the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs)
KUALA LUMPUR, April 28, 2023 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) announced the Profit Distribution for the financial year 2022 at a rate of 3.10 percent after taking into account the zakat percentage of 2.57 percent. This Profit Distribution involves a total distribution of RM2.65 billion and will benefit more than 8.7 million TH depositors.
Beneficiary Appointment
A depositor aged 18 years and above is required to appoint a nominee among his / her heirs according to the Shariah Law, to whom the amount or part of the amount in the depositor’s account will be paid after the demise of the depositor (references - Lembaga Tabung Haji Act 1995, Lembaga Tabung Haji Regulations (Deposits and Withdrawals) 2002, Amendment 2003, Amendment 2013 and Amendment 2017).
Closing an Account
A TH account can be closed at any time by the TH depositor, legal guardian (as per TH system records), Nominees, Trustees, or by order of the Authorities.

Comprehensive Services for the Locals via TH Kulai New Branch
KULAI, APRIL 22, 2024: In line with the goal of providing complete services to depositors in the Kulai area, Tabung Haji (TH) Branch Office has moved to a new premise in Bandar Putra, Kulai, Johor. The opening ceremony of the TH Kulai Branch Office, Johor was officiated by the TH Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Syed Hamadah Syed Othman yesterday.
Contributions
Each year, TH allocates a significant amount of contributions towards non-zakat CSR initiatives in an effort to share the success gained through the support and trust of depositors and stakeholders. These contributions are channeled towards various needs such as education, health, and more.
