KUALA LUMPUR, April 28, 2023 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) announced the Profit Distribution for the financial year 2022 at a rate of 3.10 percent after taking into account the zakat percentage of 2.57 percent. This Profit Distribution involves a total distribution of RM2.65 billion and will benefit more than 8.7 million TH depositors.

This Profit Distribution is competitive considering, among other things, that the distribution rate for 2022 is higher than the average fixed deposit rate of Islamic banking for a period of 12 months, which is 2.34 percent and zakat has been handled on behalf of the depositors.

The 2022 Profit Distribution announcement was made by the Yang Berhormat Senator Dato' Setia Dr Haji Mohd Naim Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), at a press conference in TH today.
