TH Whistleblowing Policy
TH has established a Whistleblowing Policy to address misconducts in the workplace to allow TH members or the public to report breaches of the code of conduct and/or integrity, in a structured manner and with assurance that the identity of the Whistleblower is protected and remains confidential.
Misconducts such as fraud, serious financial malpractices and abuse of power that have been conducted and to be conducted by anyone appointed by TH can be reported through any of the following channels:

What Is To Be Revealed
A disclosure (“Disclosure”) may be made if it is related to one or more of the following misconducts committed by any person in the course of conducting business with or any affairs related to TH (“Misconduct”):
- Corruption or fraud;
- Criminal offence;
- Misuse of TH funds or assets;
- Financial irregularities or serious breaches of financial regulations in TH;
- Serious violation of the General Rules of Lembaga Tabung Haji 1983, Circulars as well as other terms and conditions for services provided from time to time to employees and Members of the Board of TH;
- An act or omission which poses a substantial and specific danger to the life, health or safety of TH employees or the public or the environment;
- Failure to comply with the provisions of Tabung Haji Act 1995;
- Failure to comply with the provisions of other Acts of Parliament if the offender willfully disregards or fails to comply with those provisions; or
- Intentionally instructing or advising a person to commit any of the above Misconducts.
Whistleblower Protection
Whistleblower will be protected under this Policy :
- Whistleblower will be protected from internal retaliation within TH caused directly from the exposure; and
- Identity and private information of the Whistleblower will be protected and classified as “Confidential”
Whistleblower Protection will be void if
Any TH Member, Service Provider or member of the public who makes a disclosure or is found to have made a dishonest disclosure and without reasonable grounds will automatically lose the aforementioned protection (if applicable).
Disclosure Status Update
The Whistleblowers will be notified of the status of their disclosures as frequent as possible based on “Need to Know” requirements.
