Board of Directors
The Board of Directors has been bestowed the power under Section 4(1) Tabung Haji Act 1995 (Act 535) to administer the fund and all matters concerning the pilgrims’ welfare. The Board of Directors also formulates policies and implements all matters related to the said and any other matters as provided by this Act.
The appointment of the Board members is in line with stipulations listed in the Membership of the Board in Part II Section 6 of Act 535:
Briefing & License Handover Ceremony For Private (Hajj) Travel Agents (PJH) For 1441H/2020M Season
KUALA LUMPUR Thursday, February 6 - Tabung Haji (TH) today held a license handover ceremony for selected Private (Hajj) Travel Agencies (PJH) who will be managing the pilgrim entourages for 1441H/2020M Hajj season this year.
The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Sri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman, Senior Manager of Hajj; who is also the Head of Malaysian Hajj Entourage for 1441H/2020M season. 24 travel agencies have been chosen and licensed for this year's Hajj season.
Business Zakat Contribution by TH Amounting to RM8,018,890.00 million to Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Terengganu (MAIDAM)
TERENGGANU, October 14, 2024: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today held a handover ceremony for its business zakat, represented by the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of TH, Tuan Syed Hamadah bin Syed Othman, to Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia (KDYMM) Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, who graciously accepted the business zakat amounting to RM8,018,890.00 million at Istana Syarqiyyah, Kuala Terengganu.
