TERENGGANU, October 14, 2024: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today held a handover ceremony for its business zakat, represented by the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of TH, Tuan Syed Hamadah bin Syed Othman, to Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia (KDYMM) Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, who graciously accepted the business zakat amounting to RM8,018,890.00 million at Istana Syarqiyyah, Kuala Terengganu.

Witnessing the zakat handover ceremony were YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja (State Secretary of Terengganu), YB Dato’ Haji Shaikh Harun bin Shaikh Ismail (President of MAIDAM), and YBhg Associate Professor Dr. Syed Hadzrullathfi bin Syed Omar (Deputy Mufti of the State of Terengganu). Also present were Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Azrin bin Adnan (Chief Executive Officer of MAIDAM), Tuan Haji Nizan Johar bin Abdul Wahab (Terengganu State Director), Haji Mohd Yusalmie bin Safie (Head of Administration & Hajj, Terengganu), and Encik Ahmad Lutfi bin Mohd Safuan (Head of Marketing, Terengganu). May this zakat contribute significantly to uplifting the economic well-being of the asnaf community in the state.
