KUALA LUMPUR, 14 December 2021 –Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) has introduced a new online service called THiJARI BIZ that is now available with just a click away to facilitate seamless online salary deductions for employers. Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Ahmad Marzuk Shaary launched TH’s latest digital initiative today.

THiJARI BIZ is an online platform specifically designed to enable employers across the country to perform monthly salary deduction to be deposited into their respective employees’ TH account.

YB Datuk Ahmad Marzuk said this will ensure a seamless affair for employers to do monthly deductions of their employees’ salary. Additionally, this will also hasten the crediting process into their TH accounts.

"THiJARI Biz was introduced as one of TH's initiatives towards digital transformation to further improve online services and the automation of work processes so that TH services are more efficient and effective," he added. Previously, salary deductions were handled by TH manually whereby the employees’ details and contributions to their TH accounts were provided by their employers via email, letter or by going to one of the TH branches.

This has resulted in salary deductions taking between seven (7) to fourteen (14) days.

With THiJARI Biz, the salary deduction process will only take one (1) working day provided the required information is complete and the respective TH accounts are active as all matters related to the details and payment of salary deduction will be managed independently by the employers through the online portal.

Moreover, employers are now able to update their company profile information, employees’ records and change its administrators (Admin).

TH Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dato ’Sri Amrin Awaluddin said THiJARI Biz can be accessed via www.thijari.com.my/thijaribiz. He believes it will ease the process of salary deductions by employers and attract more employees from both the public and private sectors to open TH accounts, allowing them to save, through salary deductions gradually and fulfil their dreams of performing the Hajj.

“With the introduction of THiJARI Biz, employees’ salary deduction transactions can be done safely and efficiently online by their employers at any time. Employers are also able to check on the transactions made while employees can also review their crediting records through their respective THiJARI applications,” he said.
