Tunku Temenggong Kedah, Yang Teramat Mulia, Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah and Tunku Puan Temenggong, Yang Teramat Mulia Datin Seri DiRaja Puan Sri’ Dato’ Seri Tengku Maliha Binti Tengku Ariff bid farewell to the third group of 279 pilgrims from Kedah at TH Hotel and Convention Centre Alor Setar, this morning.

The pilgrims were flown directly from Sultan Abdul Halim Airport, Alor Setar, Kedah to Madinah using MH8010 flight scheduled to depart at 12.30 pm and arrive in Madinah International Airport at 9.00pm (Malaysian time) or 4.00 pm (Saudi time).

This year, TH provides 5 direct flights from Alor Setar to the Holy Land, carrying more than 1,000 pilgrims from Kedah.

Also present at the ceremony was the Chief Minister of Kedah, Dato ' Seri Haji Mukhriz Tun Mahathir, TH Chairman, YB Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim and TH Board Member, Tan Sri Dato' Paduka Badruddin Amiruldin.
