The Prime Hajj Course was held across the country marked as the final course offered to the pilgrims before their journey to the Holy Land.
Several states conducted the course in 15 until 17 July as below:
- Kelantan, officiated by YB. Senator Dato’ Dr. Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato’ Haji Dusuki (Timbalan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri)
- Wilayah Persekutuan, officiated by YB. Senator Dato’ Seri Khairuddin bin Samad (Ahli Dewan Negara)
- Pulau Pinang, officiated by TYT. Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas (Yang Dipertua Negeri Pulau Pinang)
- Sabah (West Coast), officiated by YB. Datuk Haji Syed Abas Syed Ali (DUN Speaker)
- Sarawak (Central Region - Sarikei, Sibu& Mukah), dirasmikan oleh YBhg. Temenggong Datuk Haji Wan Hamid Edruce Bin Tuanku Mohamad
- Sarawak (Northern Region - Limbang, Miri & Bintulu), officiated by YB. Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ismail (Menteri Muda Kebajikan dan Kesejahteraan Komuniti Negeri Sarawak)
This 2 days 1 night course provides exposure to practical acts of worship such as tawaf, sa’ie, mabit and the pelting of pebbles at Jamrah.
Besides, it was also a part of TH Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme to ensure that pilgrims are ready to face issues pertaining to pilgrimage before embarking on their journey.
