Tabung Haji (TH) today pays zakat amounting to RM 3,446,420.49 for the financial year ending 2018 to Zakat Pulau Pinang in a brief ceremony at the Official House of Penang Chief Minister, Seri Mutiara, Main Street, Pulau Pinang.

YBhg. Dato' Sri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman, Senior General Manager, TH Hajj Department has handed over zakat payment to Tuan Yang Terutama, Tun Dato' Seri Utama (Dr) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Abbas, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang.

The payment of zakat TH for the state of Penang recorded an increase of 24.9% compared to 2017.

Also present at the function was YB Dato' Ir Haji Ahmad Zakeyuddin Abd Rahman, TKM 1 Penang, YB Dato' Haji Abdul Malik Abdul Kasim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZPP; Tuan Haji Abu Shukor Jangga, Pulau Pinang's Director of TH and Pulau Pinang's Zakat officers and members of TH.
