KUALA LUMPUR, April 28,  2021 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat TH amounting to RM9,171,043.56 for the financial year ending 2020 financial year ending to the Pusat Pungutan Zakat - Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan Collection Center of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (PPZ-MAIWP) in a ceremony held at Masjid Negara, Kuala Lumpur today.

Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud bin Bakar as the Chairman of MAIWP, has received the contribution payment of TH Zakat from Tuan Haji Mustakim Mohamad, Executive Director of TH Operations. Zakat contributions payments for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur recorded an increase compared to 2020 (RM7,994,661.23).

The total payment of Zakat TH 2020 contributions for the entire nation for the year 2020 continued to record an increase in the entire state of RM100,416,202.83 compared to RM86,185,327.00 in 2020.

The ceremony, which took place in full compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health Malaysia, was also attended by representatives of the top management of PPZ MAIWP, JAWI and also members of TH.
