SELANGOR, April 23, 2024: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today received the High Impact Contributor award at the University Malaya Outstanding Awards Ceremony (Anugerah Cemerlang Universiti Malaya). The Chancellor of the University of Malaya, DYMM Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Sultan of Perak was pleased to present the award to the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Tabung Haji, Tuan Syed Hamadah Syed Othman at the Mutiara Ballroom, Royale Chulan Damansara.

The collaboration between TH and Universiti Malaya (UM) began in 2019 through the Iqra-IPTA Program with a total contribution worth RM3.2 million to help asnaf students pay tuition fees and hostel fees, in addition of living allowances and the purchase of learning materials such as laptops and reference books.
