Two hundreds and fifty nine students from 17 selected schools receive an education zakat totalling RM129,500 from Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) in “Majlis Sumbangan Program Iqra’” at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim, Kota Tinggi, Johor.

This program was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Badlisyah Abdul Ghani, TH Deputy Chief Executive Officer and also attended by Encik Md Din Bin Hussein, Kota Tinggi Education Officer, as well as headmasters, teachers and TH Johor Staff.

Iqra’ Program is one of TH CSR Programs which provides RM500 per student. Total zakat contribution for Iqra’ Program is RM2 million, which distributed to 4,000 students at 178 selected schools, nationwide.
