KOTA KINABALU, 5 OCTOBER 2023: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today has contributed an amount of RM500,000 to Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) through the IPTA 2023 Iqra Program aims to alleviate financial burdens and facilitate  the affairs of students with B40 or asnaf status.

This contribution will be utilized by a portion of 14,000 UMS students who fall under the B40 category, especially asnaf families with limited financial means. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im Haji Mokhtar, stated that several local universities have identified a significant number of their students coming from B40 families.
