KUALA LUMPUR, 25 March 2021 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today granted Hajj licenses to 22 local travel agencies including its subsidiary Tabung Haji Travel & Services Sdn Bhd (THTS) to operate as Hajj Organizers (Pengelola Jemaah Haji) for 2021.
According to TH's Hajj Executive Director, Dato' Sri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman, the appointment of 22 PJHs is part of TH's initial preparations for the Hajj season.
“Until today, the Malaysian Government and TH are still waiting for official information regarding Hajj for the year 1442H/2021M from the Saudi Arabian authorities. Therefore, all licensed PJHs are not allowed to publish any advertisements for hajj packages yet until the official permission is issued by TH," said Dato' Sri Syed Saleh at the PJH license handover ceremony at Menara TH, Kuala Lumpur recently.
