Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today makes 3 zakat contributions amounting to RM17,132,475.58 for the financial year ending 2017 to Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) in a brief ceremony at Istana Alam Shah, Klang, Selangor.

DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, the Sultan of Selangor was pleased to receive the zakat payments presented by TH's Chairman YB Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim. Payment of zakat for the state recorded an increase of 13.23% compared to RM15,130,379.28 (2016).

Also present at the function were YBhg Tan Sri Dato 'Sri Apandi Hj Ali, ALP TH, YAM Tan Sri Dato' Seri Syed Anwar Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, Chairman of Lembaga Zakat Selangor; Sahibus Samahah Dato 'Setia Haji Mohd Tamyes Abdul Wahid, Selangor State Mufti; YBhg. Dato 'Sri Syed Saleh Syed Abd Rahman, Senior General Manager (Haji) TH, Tuan Haji Mohd Sawal Abong, TH's State of Selangor Director ; as well as Lembaga Zakat Selangor and TH officers.
