IPOH, March 11, 2021 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today held a Laptop Contribution Handover Ceremony for UTM Asnaf under Student’s Educational Donation effort amounting to RM750,000.00 to a total of 218 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students from three states namely Johor, Perak and Pahang.

Out of the total, 68 students from the state of Perak received cash donations of RM1,106 along with a laptop worth RM2,500.

The ceremony was officiated by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), The Honourable Senator Datuk Seri Dr Haji Zulkifli bin Mohamd Al-Bakri and was also attended by the Director (Student Affairs) of UTM Kuala Lumpur, Associate Prof Ir Dr Pauziah binti Muhamad and Director of Tabung Haji Negeri Perak, Tuan Haji Mohamad Abas. The donation is an initiative by TH under the Iqra’ Programme where UTM is among the 14 lucky universities that receive donations.
