The Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat TH amounting to RM7,680,292.46 for the financial year ending 2018 to Johor's State Zakat and Fitrah Committee in a brief ceremony at the Official Residence of Johor's Menteri Besar, Dato' Dr. Sahruddin Jamal.

The ceremony was officiated by Tuan Haji Mustakim Mohamad, TH's Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

The zakat payment for the state of Johor recorded a 27.3% increase over 2017 (RM6,032,522.73).

Also present at the ceremony were YB. Dato' Haji Azmi Rohani, Johor State Secretary; YB. Tuan Haji Tosrin Jarvanthi, Chairman of the Islamic Religious Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development Committee; YB Dato' Haji A. Rahim Haji Nin, State Financial Officer of Johor; YB Dato' Haji Yahya Ahmad, State Mufti of Johor; YB Dato' Dr Haji Nooh Gadot, Advisor to the Johor Islamic Council; YBhg. Dato' Haji Mohammad Mokhzani Mukhtar, Johor's Director of TH; the officers of the Zakat and Fitrah Committee of the State of Johor and the members of TH.
