The Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat amounting to RM5,785,570.19 for the financial year ending 2018 to the Perak Islamic Religious And Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) in a ceremony at Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak.

His Majesty the Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah has been granted the payment of zakat from Tuan Haji Mohd Ridzuan bin Wahi, General Manager (Savings & Production) TH.

The zakat payment for the state of Perak increased by 27.6% compared to 2017 (RM4,533,919.04).

Also present at the function were Tuan Haji Mohd Haidi bin Sulaiman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MAIPk; Tuan Haji Shamsul Kamal bin Hussein Kamal, Chief Technology Officer TH; Tuan Haji Rozimin bin Ahamed Kamil, Director of TH Perak; MAIPk employees and TH members.
