KUALA LUMPUR, 16 December 2024 – Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) will continue its Targeted Financial Assistance for the 1446H/2025M Hajj season, benefiting first-time Muassasah pilgrims performing the pilgrimage.

The Hajj Financial Assistance for this season is estimated at RM261 million, bringing the total amount provided over 25 years to more than RM2.8 billion. This substantial assistance has had a direct impact on TH's financial sustainability and the returns to its depositors.

For the 1446H/2025M Hajj season, TH has successfully managed to control the rising costs, with the Hajj Cost for Muassasah pilgrims remaining at RM33,300 per person. To mitigate these costs, TH has secured long-term flight contracts despite the rising oil prices.
