SABAH, 19 November 2021 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat TH amounting to RM1,988,927.04 for the financial year ending 2020 to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) in a ceremony held at the Chief Minister's Office, Wisma Bapa Malaysia Petrajaya.

The presentation of the zakat was done by the Regional Director of Sabah and Sarawak, YBhg Datin Hajah Nurlaila binti Haji Said to the YDP of Majlis Islam Sarawak, YBhg Datu Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha. The ceremony was witnessed by YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Abang Haji Openg, Chief Minister of Sarawak.

Hopefully the zakat contribution will be beneficial in aiding and improving the economic status of the asnaf in Sarawak.
