PERAK, 18 November 2024: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) has contributed RM499,740.00 through a strategic partnership with Yayasan Didik Negara (YDN) in a ceremony held in Sungai Siput, Perak.

Two schools, SK Kenang and SMK Bawong in Sungai Siput, Perak, received educational support in the form of tablets, smartboards, and Starlink fiber optics to facilitate digital learning. This initiative aims to ensure that students from the Orang Asli community are not left behind in the digital learning era.

YBrs. Tuan Syed Hamadah Syed Othman, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, presented the replica cheque to YBrs. Tuan Haji Safuan Haji Raba’ai, Perak State Education Director, witnessed by YB Puan Fadhlina Sidek, the Minister of Education Malaysia.
