PUTRAJAYA, JUNE 27, 2022 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today has contributed a total of 40 vehicles (multipurpose vans) valued at RM 5.4 million to selected mosques, surau, Tahfiz Centres and chosen welfare homes through the TH Mobility Program in the TH Mobility Program Handover Ceremony in Dataran Kompleks Islam, Putrajaya.

Minister in the Prime Minister Office (Religion Department), YB Senator Datuk Haji Idris bin Haji Ahmad remarked, these TH Mobility Program dual-function vehicles is an effort to fulfill the fardhu kifayah by assisting with funeral managements needs especially for the local community in the rural area. "Through this Mobility Program, TH contributes dual-function vehicles which can be used for funeral management and also to transport passengers for kariah members for various activities,” he said.

TH Mobility Program is one of the key performance indicators (KPI) set in the Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia to be achieved within the first six months of this year.

Also present in the ceremony are the  Representatives of the Head of Religious Agencies within the Prime Minister Office, TH Senior Management Team, TH Zakat Wakalah Committee Members, and the Recipients’ Representatives of the Van Mobiliti TH 2022.
