Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today held the Opening Ceremony for the 36th Hajj Muzakarah for the 1441H Hajj Season at the Malaysian Islamic Training Institute, Bangi. The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Mujahid Yusof, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department.

The two-day Hajj Muzakarah, which runs from 22 to 23 November 2019, is attended by more than 200 Pengkursus Ibadat Haji Tanah Suci & Tanah Air (PEKTA & PIHTAS) and religious scholars on sharing their knowledge and experience in establishing uniformity of laws and find the best solutions for hajj, umrah and ziarah.

A total of five (5) papers were presented and discussed throughout the muzakarah by the members of the Pilgrimage Advisory Committee. At this time, foreign delegates from Southeast Asia - Cambodia and Brunei also attended the 8th Nadwah Urusan Haji Asia Tenggara (NUHAT).

Also present were YBhg. Tan Sri Md. Nor Yusof, Chairman of TH; YBrs. Tuan Haji Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TH; Members of the Pilgrimage Advisory Committee and members of TH.
