SERDANG, March 15, 2024 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) presented a mock cheque to His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, as the Tunku Canselor (Chancellor) of UPM at the Iftar and Tarawih Prayer Ceremony organized by UPM today.

TH’s contribution of RM400,000.00 was used for the purchase of ambulances for the Hospital Pengajar UPM (HPUPM). The mock cheque was presented by the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Tuan Syed Hamadah Syed Othman to DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Sultan of Selangor and witnessed by YBhg. Dato’ Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UPM.

Also present at the ceremony were His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj, Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shaari and Minister of Higher Education, YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir.
