Tabung Haji (TH) presented four houses of Baiti Project to four (4) selected asnaf from Bota Kanan District, Perak in a brief handover ceremony today.
TH Baiti Project that was implemented in collaboration with Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIPk) provides an aid amounting to RM200,000.00 in building and repairing homes of the asnaf who are selected through a list of eligible asnaf in receiving the aid. A symbolical handover ceremony of the houses was presented by TH Director of Perak, Tuan Haji Nawawi bin Ishak.
Baiti Project is one of TH’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes (CSR) to help the less fortunate people to repair or rebuild their homes. This programme shows TH’s concern as a unified Islamic institution in preserving the ummah's economy, especially that of the asnaf. In addition, the programme is seen as a platform for TH to reach out and help those in need, in line with TH’s vision of 'The Foundation of Ummah’s Economic Success’.
