
SHAH ALAM, APRIL 20, 2025 – A total of 8,338 prospective pilgrims from the state of Selangor are participating in the final phase of their hajj preparations through the Kursus Perdana Haji for the 1446H/2025M season, organised by Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH). The course is being conducted in stages across the country from 11 April to 4 May 2025.
This two-day, one-night programme marks the culmination of a series of hajj courses, aimed at reinforcing the pilgrims’ understanding of manasik (ritual procedures) before their departure to the Holy Land. The course includes practical simulations of key rituals such as tawaf, sa’ie, bermabit, and melontar (stoning).
His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, graciously officiated the Selangor state-level Kursus Perdana Haji, held today at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam.
