Tabung Haji (TH) today organised the Opening Ceremony of the 34th National Level Hajj Muzakarah at TH Hotel, Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang. The opening ceremony was graced by YB. Dato' Seri Jamil Khir bin Haji Baharom (B), Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.

The Muzakarah which lasts for four days, from 19 to 22 November 2017, aims to provide opportunities to more than 500 religious scholars and Hajj facillitators to share knowledge and to set the standard in Islamic legislations and finding the best solutions pertaining to Hajj, umrah and ziarah in the interest of Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims.

Also present during the ceremony were YBhg. Datuk Seri Johan Abdullah, TH Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer; YBhg. Dato’ Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman, TH Senior General Manager (Hajj); Sahibus Samahah Datuk Dr Zulkifli AlBakri, Mufti of Federal Territories; YB. Datuk Seri Haji Farizan Darus, Secretary of Penang State Government and Members of Hajj Advisory Committee.
