JAKIM Secretariat of Dakwah in collaboration with corporate companies including Tabung Haji (TH), Bank Islam and Takaful Malaysia organised the 3rd National Level I-Korporat Carnival for 1439H/2017M at TH Hotel Alor Setar’s, Kedah.

The closing ceremony of the carnival that has taken place since 15 November was officially closed today by YB. Dato' Seri Jamil Khir bin Haji Baharom, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department. Also present were YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Othman Mustapha, Director General of JAKIM, YBrs. En. Khairul Kamarudin, Chief Executive Officer of Bank Islam and YBrs. Tuan Haji Nawawi Ishak, TH Kedah’s State Director.

Various activities and competitions were held during the carnival which include Tilawah Al-Quran, Ziarah Marhabah Asnaf, Forum Perdana and a futsal match.

TH has won the overall championship for the activities held this year. Meanwhile, Hajah Farra Liza Binti Mohamad Musa, TH’s Qariah from TH Miri was announced as Champion for Qariah Category in Tilawah Al-Quran where she brings back RM5,000 in cash, a throphy, participation certificate and an umrah package sponsored by TH.
