TERENGGANU, 19 August, 2022 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today presented the grand prizes for the 4 categories which was Quran Recitation Champion (Men and Women) in the form of cash prize worth of RM8,000.00 each.

The Official Closing Ceremony of Mahrajan Amal Islami, National Level 1444H/2022M and Proclamation of the Besut Campus Malaysian Islamic Training Institute organised by JAKIM was graced by His Royal Highness Al-Wathiqul Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, Sultan of Terengganu. The ceremony was held to welcome and bond with the Muallaf community through an Islamic education appreciation programme. The educational process is made through competitions such as Quran Recitation, Quran Memorization, Lectures, Azan and Iqama as well as Nasyid.

This program hopes to spark enthusiasm in appreciation of Islamic values and deepens religious knowledge ​​among our new Muslim Converts which conforms with their duties and roles as preachers and caliphs of this earth.
