Tabung Haji Foundation (TH) in collaboration with Yayasan Tabung Haji made a contribution today to one of more than 200 future pilgrims through the TH Kotak Barakah Programme at 20 locations throughout the country.

Sarikei's TH Manager, Tuan Haji Madehi Mahdan remarked, "TH organized TH Kotak Barakah Programme for the first time this year for selected future pilgrims throughout the country as contributions for them in line with TH's mission to reach out to the People." He said this when handing over the TH Kotak Barakah to one of the pilgrims, Abdul Wahap bin Dangu in Kampung Hulu Supa Pusa, Sarawak.

This programme is part of TH's effort to reach out to selected pilgrims that have been chosen to carry out Hajj, but are less fortunate. TH would like to share its success with the stakeholders via their focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. These programmes also prove TH's sensitivity as an Islamic institution which cares for the welfare of its depositors for the benefit of the universal Ummah, especially the Asnafs.

The event was also attended by TH Sarawak Deputy Director, Tuan Haji Mohammad Salim, TH's members and the recipients' families.
