Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) starts its’ zakat presentation tour amounting RM60.3 mil for the year 2016 to the Majlis Agama Islam and Pusat Pungutan Zakat negeri-negeri nationwide. The total amount of 2016 TH Zakat continues to record an increase of 1.69% (RM60.3 mil) compared to the previous year, RM59.3 mil (2015).

Sabah is the first recipient of TH Zakat 2016. The Zakat TH’s Sabah was presented by YBhg. Dato’ Badlisyah Abdul Ghani, TH Deputy Chief Executive Officer to the Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS) Chairman, YB Datuk Mohd Suhaili Haji Said and witnessed by Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Haji Juhar Datuk Haji Mahiruddin in a ceremony at Istana Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Total Zakat TH’s Sabah was RM 1,048,485.95.
