1. When will the Hajj Basic Course (KAH) begin? It will begin on November 19,2021 until February 19, 2022
2. What type of platform will be used? Youtube Live
3. Why is KAH being held via online?

KAH via online will be implemented, to replace physical courses held previously.

  • This setup is taking into account the new norms and current MCO regulations where public meetings are not allowed.
  • Although there are no physical courses, basic learning about Hajj and other related topics such as health aspects should be continued.
4. How many series of KAH will be held? 14 series
5. How many series will be held in a week? 1 series
6. On what day and time will this online course be held?  Participants will be given further details regarding the date and time of the course when receiving the link to the course from TH.
7. What if I’m not proficient in this way? Will TH held a physical course for me? KAH will not be held physically this time around for safety of the participants. Kindly seek assistance from your family members in order to join the KAH online courses.
8. Can participants ask questions to the speaker? Yes, they can. Participants will be given a space for asking questions to the speaker directly by writing in the chat section in Youtube Live.
9. Will TH provide a book/module for reference? Yes. It can be downloaded via TH Official Portal at www.tabunghaji.com.my .
10. Where can I get the schedule and links to the courses? Please contact the nearest TH office. TH will contact the invited participants and give further information.
11. Can the beneficiaries take the schedule and links for the courses on my behalf? Yes, they can. Beneficiaries need to provide the details of the participants to the Tabung Haji Contact Center (THCC).
12. Do I need a YouTube account to follow KAH?  No. KAH participants who want to submit questions to the speaker just need to log into Youtube using their Google account and will need to type in the chat section.
13. I do not have internet access, is there an alternative for me to follow KAH? There is no other alternative for now. KAH will not be held physically for the safety of the participants .
14. If I miss a course session, can I watch it again? Yes, the recording of selected course sessions for each series will be available for review by participants at TH Official Website at www.tabunghaji.com.my
15. Can I share course links with friends? You are not allowed to share the links with your friends. The link is only for the use of depositors who will be performing Hajj in 1442H/2021M only.
16. My Hajj turn is in the year 1441H / 2021M, can I join this course? Participation is only for depositors who will be performing Hajj in 1442H/2021M only. It is to facilitate teaching and learning effectively through Online Courses.
17. Why is KAH this time not open to the public who wants to learn about Hajj? KAH this time will not be opened to the public as this may cause an overwhelming participation and may interfere with the effectiveness of teaching and learning through the Online Courses.
18. My area is under PKP and away from TH Office, how do I get the course link? Participants may contact THCC and will need to provide personal information to obtain the course link.

19. Will Saudi Arabia host the Hajj this year? The Government of Saudi Arabia has not yet decided, but TH has been and is currently making plans and various preparations in case Hajj can be performed this year.
20. When will the clearance for Malaysians to perform Hajj be announced? What is the quota for Malaysia? Please be patient as we are still discussing and waiting for the decisions of the Government of Saudi Arabia.
21. How much is the Hajj fee this year? TH will announce the Hajj Payment for 1443H/2022M in the near future after an in-depth discussion on the overall cost of performing the Hajj this year including taking into account the new norms in an epidemic environment.
22. What are the SOP’s and conditions that the pilgrims need to follow? These will be announced after receiving the decision of the Government of Saudi Arabia in regards to the implementation of Hajj for the 1443H/2022M season.
23. Does TH offer Badal Hajj services this year? No. Beginning 1440H/2019M Hajj Season, TH no longer offer Badal Hajj Services.
