Basic Hajj Course 1445H/2024M
1. When will the Hajj Basic Course (KAH) begin? It will begin from 27 October 2023 until 21 January 2024.
2. Who will be selected to join KAH? Invitation for the KAH registration will only be extended  to depositors who have been called for hajj for the years 1444H and 1445H.
3. How can I know whether I am selected to join KAH?

KAH invitation are sent via SMS and THiJARI. Please contact the nearest TH Office. TH will get in touch with the invited depositors and provide further information.
4. Where will KAH be held? KAH will be carried out physically in selected mosques across the country.
5. How can I know the date and place of the courses?

The KAH schedule can be checked via :

  1. THiJARI application (Menu > Hajj Services > Basic Hajj Course)
  2. Official Website www.tabunghaji.gov.my or
  3. Nearest TH Offices
     
6. How many series of KAH will be held? 13 series
7. How many series will be held in a week? 1 per week
8. Will TH provide a book/module for reference? Prospective pilgrims of 1444H and 1445H who receive the course invitation letter can obtain the KAH Basic Notes at the TH Branch Office. KAH Module is also available for download via TH Official Portal (https://www.tabunghaji.gov.my/en/hajj/guidance/hajj-basic-course-kah-module) or at the e-Bimbingan Portal (https://e-bimbingan.tabunghaji.gov.my/)
9. Is KAH recorded and available for viewing if I miss the course session? There will be no recording of the session available. However, the selected future pilgrims can revise the topic and KAH module at the e-Bimbingan Haji (https://e-bimbingan.tabunghaji.gov.my/)
10. Will KAH this time be open to the public who wants to learn about Hajj? This time, KAH will be opened to the public. However, priority will be given to those who receive the course invitation letter.
11. When will the permission for Malaysians to perform Hajj be announced? And how many quotas will be given for Malaysia? TH is in the midst of discussion with and is still waiting for the decision from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
12. How much is the Hajj payment for this year? TH will announce the Hajj payment for 1445H/2024M after an in-depth discussion about the total cost of performing hajj this year is concluded.
13. Will the same SOP and guidelines from the year 1445H/2024M apply this year? This will be notified once the decision is received from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in regards to how hajj will be performed in the year 1445H/2024M season.
14. Will TH provide hajj badal service this year? No, TH has not offered hajj badal services beginning Hajj season 1440H/2019M in accordance to the directives issued by the Arab Saudi authorities.
