KUALA LUMPUR, MARCH 22, 2022 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) and a non-governmental organization, Dana Kita has launched the Sinar Baru Programme with the vision of helping members of the asnaf community who are interested in becoming seamstress entrepreneurs.

The Sinar Baru Programme TH - Dana Kita Sewing Workshop will be organized for free, benefitting 50 members of the asnaf community.

“(This) Sinar Baru Programme is a great effort with a good intention which is to help provide basic skills for the asnaf community and help them to be independent by becoming an entrepreneur, as a result from the skills that they learned,” said Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Ahmad Marzuk Shaary.

Also present at the launch event today at Menara TH is the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Ahmad Marzuk Shaary, Acting Executive Director of TH Operations, Tuan Hj Mohamed Ameen Abdul Wahab, as well as representatives of Sinar Baru program participants.
