KUALA LUMPUR, May 17, 2019 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) organized the TH's Children's Education Excellence Awards Ceremony for 2019. The event held at Menara TH Tun Razak is aimed at giving recognition to the outstanding children of TH's members. The presentation of the award was completed by TH's Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff, Tuan Haji Hizamuddin bin Jamalluddin.
The TH's Children's Excellence Award Ceremony which started since year 2004, was held with the award of prizes to successful children in the UPSR, PT3, STAM, SPM, STPM and Matriculation examinations.Tuan Haji Hizamuddin berkata, Anugerah yang diberikan ini merupakan satu galakan atau insentif kepada mereka semua yang telah bertungkus-lumus mengulangkaji pelajaran serta membuat persiapan yang rapi bagi menghadapi peperiksaan.
"In addition, with this encouragement, it is hoped that it will help the members of the children who are future heirs of the leadership to continue to maintain education excellence, thus further acquiring skills and work experience for future employment," he added.
Muhammad Alif Razin bin Mohammad Sirajjuddin, 18, who earned an excellent result in SPM recently with 10A + achievement said that his mother and father often reminded him that education is a key pillar for a person to change his life and to achieve success.
"My success is also a result of the teaching of teachers in school who tirelessly educate and help ensure the excellence of every student in school," he said, hoping to continue his studies in public university and aspire to become a medical doctor.
In addition, TH also awarded the children who completed their accounting studies at Kolej Matrikulasi Arau, Perlis. As well as a brilliant achievement of CGPA 4.00 namely Adik Wan Amirul Hakimi Wan Shamsol.
"Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting at UiTM Puncak Alam. With this award, it burns my spirit to be more successful and as a catalyst for my ambition to become CEO one day and to reciprocate both parents, " he said.
Muhammad Alif Razin bin Mohammad Sirajjuddin and Wan Amirul Hakimi Wan Shamsol are among 76 children of TH members from all over Malaysia who received the Education Excellence Award in the form of consolation money of around RM200 - RM1,000 according to their respective achievements. Also present at the event were Tuan Haji Mustakim bin Mohamad, Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer; Tuan Haji Zainal Abidin Omar, General Manager of Human Resource Strategies and Tuan Haji Mohd Norber Kassim, General Manager of Learning and Development.
